IAPS Launches Tailored VPN Programs

Hi Folks,

After long thought and a lot of work, I’m proud to finally offer the first ever IAPS branded VPN dialer programs. These programs can be tailor made to your operating system, whether you prefer 32 or 64 bit versions, or whether you’d like the PPTP or L2TP versions. It doesn’t matter whether you use Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or 7. Sorry Mac users, I could not accomodate you guys in this launch.

If you are a reseller, IAPS can brand our line of vpn dialers to your specifications and your companies name and/or logo.

These programs take 100% of the manual setup process and make it automatic! Never again will you have to perform a manual vpn setup. IAPS has taken all the guesswork out of the manual setup process and have applied all the correct security settings and maximum performance in our line of vpn dialers.

Once you have installed the IAPS VPN Dialer, all thats needed is your user name and password. That’s it! There’s nothing more to it! For those of you that have multiple accounts in different countries, IAPS can create a custom made dialer for you that includes all your accounts and all assigned servers in one single program. Its as easy as pie and requires literally nothing from you except your assigned username and password!

If you are a current IAPS client and have at least 1 active account on any of our servers, you can request via email a copy of the program. In your emailed request, you must include the following information:

1.) Your registered email account that IAPS has on file from your latest order.
2.) Your current server / username/ password (either its common name or its ip address)
3.) Your preferred connection type. Either PPTP or L2TP.
4.) What version of Windows operating system you have (so we know which version to send you)

It is my sincere hope that automated setups provide a much better and easier experience for all IAPS clients.

Maintenance Announcement Follow-Up

Hi Folks,

My apologies for the belated announcement regarding yesterdays maintenance on the Skyhawk server. That maintenance window only lasted about 20 minutes long and she was back up and running again.

I have pulled 2 backup servers and have activated them and put them on standby in the event we need to move any clients to a new server. As the holiday season is now upon us, many of you have a lot more free time and are staying logged in to the various servers more than usual. I’m also seeing a lot of you sitting idle on the servers after you’ve gone to sleep. Please folks, when your done using a server please sign off of it. Your using resources just sitting idle that another user could be using that wants to stream or surf the internet.

Per the announcement I made nearly 2 weeks ago now, if you violate my P2P file sharing policy I am beginning to revoke and suspend your accounts. Since almost none of you want to respect my policies or your fellow user, this is the position I have to take.

Sale Extension & Additions

Hi Folks,

Due to numerous requests of those not receiving their email from us in time regarding yesterdays 24 hour sales, I’m extending the sale through tomorrow night. I’m also adding all VPN Countries to the yearly rate of $60.00 USD from right now until tomorrow night. Get them while they’re hot because this sale will end tomorrow night and won’t be seen again for several months.

VPN Combo Accounts

Hi Folks,

I’ve had a chance to revise all the VPN Combo Accounts. I’ve now added combo’s for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 country accounts. I think this will ease the choices for every one and I’ve put everything in nice neat categories for easy navigation. I’ve also reduced the prices for combos a bit. Have a look at the new category here..

NetNewz Server Update

Hi Folks,

I noticed a lack of bandwidth on the U.S. based NetNewz server over the past couple of days and started submitting multiple trouble tickets to the data center. Last evening they finally conducted an investigation and found out that they put the server on the wrong network segment. Finally, they physically moved the server to the correct segment of the network. They had to allocate a new ip range to the server as well. For those of you that are currently assigned to this server, please get in contact with us for the new ip address for your vpn service. Thank you.

New VPN Service Type: L2TP

Hi Folks,

I’ve finally gotten the time (barely) to implement L2TP vpn services on a select few servers. By this time tomorrow all servers will have this ability. This type of vpn is more secure than the normal PPTP vpn type and also will help those of you that for one reason or another were previously usable to connect to a PPTP vpn server. For those of you in Italy who were previously blocked by your isp (FastWebNet), this new type of vpn will enable you to finally connect. I’ve never forgotten about you folks in Italy and this solution was made just for you, but will benefit all IAPS clients regardless of geographical location.

If you are in immediate need of L2TP VPN services, please get a hold of me and I’ll get you taken care of. Thank you.

Skyhawk Server Re-Provisioning

Hi Folks,

Just a quick notice that the Skyhawk server will be undergoing a few hours of re-provisioning maintenance today. Once the server comes back up, there will no longer be a need for dual ssh/vpn services to reach your British media sites. IAPS has listened to the many of you that found the ssh service difficult to use and could only service some of the British media sites. From today on, we will have permanently fixed this issue and only one account type will be needed for clients on this server. If you are currently assigned to the Skyhawk server and wish to retain an ssh account regardless, please get in touch with us and we’ll reassign you to another ssh server.

I expect around 3 hours turnaround time from the time we start working on the server until its ready to go back on the production line. If you have any question, please use the link above. Thank you for your time.
