An Update on “Firehawk”

Folks, the preliminary news from our testing locations in remote countries have been impressive on our newest server code-named “Firehawk”. This new Supermicro Superserver has now been reported to have out classed the Silverhawk server. I was personally watching Zattoo in HiQ (HD) and I even impressed with the performance of HiQ and a large screen. “Firehawk” didn’t miss a beat.

Some of you have reported issues with Channel 4 so we specifically tested that site with its newest and greatest web-based player and it streamed perfectly without buffering one time. All the other “usual suspect” sites were tested and found to be very compatible with “Firehawk” and we are very pleased. The initial setup took less than 24 hours from start to finish and the preliminary tests are now over and “Firehawk” is now on the production line as a first rate server.

Personal ip addresses are immediately available for purchase on this server. A personal ip address for your account assures that only you have access to that ip address. Personal ip addresses are good for the life of your account and only incur a one-off fee of $49.95 USD + the normal cost of your account.

Keep in mind that the British TV Sale starts tomorrow at midnight (U.K. time) and lasts for 48 hours only.

A Post Just For Expats

For all you expats or expatriates out there who aren’t aware that even when your abroad, your local television is only a few clicks away no matter what country your currently located in. We’re aware that many of you travel overseas for business, vacation, or even move there permanently or seasonaly. The good thing is that you can take your local tv stations with you. All you need is a broadband internet connection with at least a 2 mb connection rate. Combined with a modern pc or mac with current updates and some nice hardware under the hood, online expat tv is only a matter of a few clicks.

Now I’m not referring to pre-recorded tv, torrents, or cam tv. I’m referring to the real experience. Live local tv on your computer. If sitting around your computer isn’t for you, then there are projectors and tv cable links that physically hook up to your tv that you can buy that will transfer the images from your computer directly to your tv. Then you can sit in the living room or front room and enjoy your local tv from whatever country you happen to be in.

Whether your interests lie in British TV, Switzerland TV, or American TV, IAPS has you covered.

There are a multitude of live television streaming sites out there including Zatto, ITV, Ch4oD, BBC, Channel5, Hulu.com, and many more that whatever your interest or language, you’re covered. Friendly live support technicians are available to assist you during your setup, answer your questions, and get you starting to feel at home again in your new residence.

If you have children this is a great way to help them adjust to their new environment and keep up with the shows at home. Never again do they have to feel left out and wondering how a series ended or began. With several tv catchup series available out there you can always go back and watch again the series that you may have missed before acquiring our services.

Once you purchase a service from us, your not alone. We provide on-going technical support, friendly assistance, and helpful tips to help you get the most out of using our services. We don’t just stick you with a program and expect you to figure out how it works. Most services that we offer don’t even require a single download. We do our best to provide services that use whats already pre-installed in your own computer. What could be better than that?

Questions are always welcome and we’ve created a Frequently Asked Questions section to address the most commonly asked questions. If your questions aren’t answered there, you can always mail them in and we’ll provide the best possible answers we have for you.
