Folks, let me tell you a bit about myself so you know where I’m coming from, where I’m going, and how I can better serve you. My name is Jared and I’m the owner and chief technical security technician for International Alliance Privacy Services and the IAPS Security Store.

My networking and technical background stem from many years in the technical field and my educational training is as follows:

Microsoft Certified Professional Systems Engineer
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
Microsoft Office User Specialist
Local Area Networking
Wide Area Networking
A+ (Physical Hardware)
CompTia
MCTS Operations Manager (Business Intelligence)
MCITP Server Administrator
Linux Redhat Server Administrator
Cisco Certified Network Associate
Cisco Certified Network Professional

I’ve been in the technical security field now for over 10 years and I’ve seen just about all there is to see. I’ve developed numerous security services, most recently the IAPS Highly Secure Email Services out of Luxembourg and Switzerland.

I immensely enjoy what I provide to the world and each person that I’ve helped become more secure over the years has made it all worthwhile. I’m currently the Technical Adviser on the What Is My IP Address Forum website. This is where I perform free technical work and provide a wealth of free advice for the taking.

My services, through the IAPS Security Store, currently provide network access to our clients from 10 countries around the world. IAPS networks are currently placed in the following countries:

United States
United Kingdom
Canada
Luxembourg
Switzerland
Germany
Malaysia
Czech Republic
The Netherlands
Hong Kong

I’ve got plans to open further networks in Australia, France, and Denmark before the end of 2009. I hope you enjoy this blog and subscribe to it at some point as I’ll be posting news about my services and helpful tips and tricks about how you can further increase your local network security as well. Please don’t be afraid to ask questions as this is the main reason for this blog. Thank you.
